your nice adverge cats can't swim and they don't like water so cats would die first when we leave for Antartica where we have to fight over each other for food
i just wonder if we could just make large floating flat forms that would level out with gravity and still float but an axle won't help since it wouldn't level out when the thing goes side ways and the structure would be too weak to support lots of soil to grow crops and the salty air would easily kill the growing vegatation unless the whole thing had some large dome to cover the whole thing and thens we have to worry about the sunlight if its gonna be a mutant crop or a fried one. A large flating bowl might hold the sphere structure where the crops i image would be and i wonder if plants gets seasick. Still thens the fact is about transport from one structure to another. solar power to convert salt water into drinkable water ? then convert that into hydrogen to drive flying machines with eletric power? thens thees the fact the structure might rust? coat it with cropper? thens its lighting strikes? transfer the lighting into a power scource? then we have to worry about cycones and nature's weather when everything's dead? i might try build a model but who would give a damn when evryone's too greedy and doesn't have any mercy to the next generation. (imaging eveyone drowning and mass stavation) (were dead in every way)

You do know the Frog (in general) has been around for 5 million years?? 5 million years!!!! so don't make hasty judgement.

Greenhouse is the answer. Most likely Human Civilization will not live on the... sea, underground is the highest probable chance.. it covers against almost all natural disasters, in result of a nuclear war it could provide protection against radiation providing it doesn't soak into the soil (depending on how deep you are). Under ground wells can provide water while food can be processed (again greenhouse). Dunno about power.. Thermal power could be.. plausible. But maintaining a a civilization requires people (population) and a minimal amount of teachers, docters, engineers etc are needed. Whilst order and justice needs to be properly regulated to oppose anarchy (police officers, government officals, figurehead/leader). Water can be recycled ( to an extent) but facility location is a huge factor as earthquakes can literally destroy it in a few seconds (perhaps even under the seabed?). But thats a long time away longer than my life time, your childrens life time and theirs before us (unless does stupid americans do something retarded or Israel finally pisses enough people off).

what about eathquakes? the earth could split the crust and we either drown or get fried with magma? i always wonder if you compress carbon into dimound and oxegen into a soild send it to mars blow it up with a thermal nuke and there the dimound thats been fried by the thermal heat of the nuke reacts to the oxegen creating carbon doxide and then mars heat up and habitable 200 years later and by then everyone is eirther drowned and the darn americans NASA ans their rockets flee earth and leave us to die
