Screw the PS3, Blu-ray Disks, High Graphics etc... (Even if i have one myself)

Are any of you guys planning to get a PS3 or wants to get one or wishes to know more on the Ps3

In the current battle of the 7th generation consoles (Wow, there's seven? I though there was OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *breaks scouter*) I would currently root for the Xbox 360 only because it's got more games, an online marketplace to download demos / games etc. and also doubles up as a media center PC (Windows Media Center add-on required though)
As for the PS3, I would want it for it's Blu-Ray capabilities, graphics, online capabilities (although there isn't many, apart from Mii clone PlayStation Home) and streamlined look. Also it's (outdated) 30GB, 60GB, (current) 40GB and soon to be released 80GB upgradable HDDs are a plus for storage of music and video.

Xbox 360 owns for two main reasons: 1. Mass Effect 2. Halo 3. Enough said.

i have a xbox 360 (which is awsome)
and a freind has a PS3 (which is also awesome but to a lesser degree)

we but them side buy side on the same LCD 42 inch tv with pip view (two images on one screen)
the preformed almost the same except p the PS3 had a lower frame rate and the lighting was not as good
which i found very interesting seeing as the PS3 i more pricey so i guess you are paying for the blu-ray not gameing if you buy it
